The project involved removing the existing deteriorated bridge and installing a new, modern reinforced concrete bridge designed to improve durability and safety. Key construction activities included building retaining walls to stabilize the surrounding terrain, installing rock slope protection to prevent erosion, and constructing MSE walls to provide additional structural support. The scope also included a range of associated roadway improvements, such as placing an aggregate base for foundational support, asphalt paving for a smooth and durable road surface, installing guardrails to enhance driver safety, and applying traffic striping to ensure clear lane demarcation. Throughout the project, compliance with environmental mitigation measures and project specifications was prioritized to minimize ecological impacts and meet regulatory requirements. The defined project area extended 200 feet on either side of the proposed bridge, ensuring a seamless integration of the new structure into the surrounding road network.
